Lewis Hamilton’s physiotherapist and assistant Angela Cullen describes the routine they go through “40 mins before the start of the race”.

In a recent Instagram post, Lewis Hamilton’s physiotherapist and overall right-hand woman Angela Cullen described their pre-race routine.

“40 mins before the start of the race Lewis will do 3 laps to the grid,” Angela wrote.

“This is to check car set up and prepare for race start. I’ll met him on the grid and we go back to the garage so he can talk to the engineers and make last min final adjustments.

“Every track is different, but follows our pre-race parkour; to the garage, national anthem, back to the garage and into the car… With 10 mins to go ‘till lights out.

“Favourite time of race weekend,” Cullen concluded.

Although Angela did not talk about their post-race routine, in Canada it involved Lewis pushing her into a river!
