Lewis Hamilton’s assistant Angela Cullen says the British/Austrian double-header was “brutal”, but there’s “some great momentum going into France”.

After the tough Austrian Grand Prix weekend for Mercedes, which featured heavy qualifying crashes from Lewis Hamilton and George Russell, Angela Cullen says it’s “time to rest”.

“Tough weekend,” Cullen wrote on Instagram.

“Highlights were some great laps in [qualifying], with some exciting new speed in the car. The team were incredible to turn two cars around after Q3 crashes.

“The sprint race was solid, but tough behind a fast double trouble Hass team.
