Mercedes had a tough day at the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix, and the team’s feelings were encapsulated in a radio exchange between Lewis Hamilton and his race engineer Peter Bonnington – Bono.

When Lewis Hamilton crossed the finish line at the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix, he had a short exchange with his race engineer Peter Bonnington – Bono, which shows how much disappointment there is in the team regarding Mercedes’ current pace.

“OK Lewis, that’s P10. Sorry about that,” Bono said.

To this Lewis replied: “Is there even a point for that position?”

Afterwards when he finally parked his car in parc ferme, Lewis told Bono and the team:

“Another tough day in the office guys, but thank you so much for trying.”

Bono then openly called it like he saw it: “Yeah, hopefully not too many more s*** days, Lewis.”
