Ferrari’s Carlos Sainz says “being a team-mate of a seven-time World Champion has to be good for your career and you’re probably going to learn”.
Ahead of the British Grand Prix, Ferrari’s Carlos Sainz was asked if he had his pick of who his team-mate will be, would he rather pick Max Verstappen or Lewis Hamilton?
The Spaniard already had a chance to partner up with Verstappen back in 2015 at Toro Rosso, and now he believes Hamilton would be a better option for him.
“I’ve already been Max’s team-mate,” Sainz told the Express.

“So I know I would get on well with him and we would have a good [relationship].
“I’ve never been team-mates with Lewis, but I guess being a team-mate of a seven-time World Champion has to be good for your career and you’re probably going to learn.
“So maybe, just to try something different, I would like Lewis. But honestly, I don’t care.
“Whoever I have as a team-mate, I’ll embrace it,” he concluded.
