Daniel Ricciardo thinks Lewis Hamilton is “as capable as ever”, and he wouldn’t count him out “for having the ability to win this weekend”.
Since the beginning of the 2022 season, a lot of critics have been using the fact that George Russell has so far had better results than Lewis Hamilton, as proof that the seven-time champion is not as good as he was.

“I definitely think Lewis is as capable as ever,” the Australian told Sky Sports F1.

“We all knew George was quick, and it was just how quick is he? How good is he? And he is proving he is very good.
“But I also wouldn’t count Lewis out for having the ability to win this weekend, for example.
“I don’t think he has lost anything, not at all,” Ricciardo concluded.
