Lando Norris triumphantly won his first ever Formula 1 race at the Miami Grand Prix, and he did it while opening a significant gap to Max Verstappen, who came in P2.
After the race, Lewis Hamilton said he gave Lando some advice on how to celebrate.
“I feel really happy for Lando,” the Briton said.
“I told him he needs to stay tonight. He will try to change his flight. He’s got to change his flight, he’s just won a race. Such a special moment to win a race.

“I started at McLaren, so really happy to see them back at the top. It’s been a long time.”
As for his own race, Lewis said:
“A really good day. I’m happy with the set-up. We finally got that sorted. To be able to move forwards and have battles with a few drivers, to hold onto one of the Red Bulls…
“It felt great to see the Ferrari and the Red Bull within distance,” he concluded.
