Mercedes announced that Valtteri Bottas and Lewis Hamilton will hit the track next week at Silverstone in the team’s 2018 challenger – the W09.
Next week Mercedes is performing a two-day test to run through “protocols to keep everyone safe” once racing resumes next month in Austria. The team will use the 2018 title winning Mercedes W09, because F1 rules prevent running newer machinery outside designated F1.
Valtteri Bottas is scheduled to hit the track on Tuesday and Lewis Hamilton on Wednesday.
The event will not be televised, but Mercedes promised to share photos and video from the event. SilverArrows.Net will bring you all the news from this test as they become available.
