Mercedes has announced that Lewis Hamilton and George Russell will not be making any statements to the media after the Singapore Grand Prix due to medical reasons.

Lewis Hamilton and George Russell did not appear for media duties following the Singapore Grand Prix, and Mercedes has confirmed they will not be doing so due to medical reasons.

“Unfortunately neither George or Lewis will be attending the media pen this evening as they recover from the exertions of this evening’s race,” the team confirmed.

Drivers usually appear in the media pen after the race to give statements, but unfortunately George and Lewis will have to skip it while trying to recover.

The race at the Marina Bay Circuit has historically been one of the physically toughest for the drivers, due to the harsh climate in Singapore.

After the race this year, race-winner Lando Norris said he felt “dizzy” while standing in parc ferme.

We wish Lewis a George a speedy recovery.
