Lewis Hamilton and George Russell will be starting the Austrian Grand Prix Sprint Race from P18 and P15 respectively, after Mercedes encounters problems.
Lewis Hamilton has been knocked out in the early moments of the Austrian Grand Prix Sprint Shootout, and will be starting the Sprint Race from P18.
Unfortunately, the Briton’s competitive time was deleted due to track limits breach at Turn 10, and in his final flying lap he encountered traffic at Turn 4, which prevented him from posting a good enough time to enter Q2.

George Russell on the other hand encountered a hydraulic issues at the end of Q1, which prevented him from going out in Q2.
This means Russell and Hamilton will start Sprint Qualifying from P15 and P18 respectively.
Lewis will start Sunday’s main race from P5, and George from P11.
