Lewis Hamilton gave words of support to Sebastian Vettel, after it became obvious that the German is having problems at Ferrari.

It was announced earlier this year that Sebastian Vettel will not be driving for Ferrari next year. According to reports Ferrari didn’t even start negotiations with the German and instead just informed him his services will not be needed.

Since then, through numerous radio messages and interviews, it became obvious Vettel’s relationship with the team has become very tense. Lewis Hamilton says he understands what the four-time champion is going through.

“I saw the difficult race he had at Silverstone and I try to feel the movement in him and with him, because he is in a difficult position,” said the Briton.

“It’s never fun when you’re no longer wanted on a team, but you still have to work for it. You give everything for such a team, all your heart.“

”He’s still working very hard and trying to move the team forward. That shows his character and commitment to racing.

“I hope something positive will come his way in the future.“
