In 2020 Lewis Hamilton has a chance to equal Michael Schumacher’s record of seven world titles and break many others.

The “big” record is not the only one Hamilton could break in 2020. If the Briton wins the next race in Hungary, he will equal Schumacher’s record for most wins at a single track. The German holds the record with his eight wins at Magny-Cours (the French Grand Prix).

Hamilton is well aware of the fact 2020 could be history-making in many regards.

“Every time I am reminded of the records Michael has, it is just mind blowing to me,” said the Briton.

“How many wins, how many championships and pole positions. It is record after record. I am constantly reminded of his greatness and the success he had.

“I have always loved Hungary. I don’t know why there are tracks we excel on, other that we are good on and others that we are mediocre in racing terms.

“Budapest and Montreal have been my strongest, so I am excited to go back.”
