Sebastian Vettel has retired from Formula 1 at the end of the 2022 season, but Lewis Hamilton says we haven’t seen the last of the German in the sport.

After a legendary career, four-time Formula 1 champion Sebastian Vettel has decided to retire at the end of the 2022 season.

During an interview with Channel 4, Vettel’s great friend Lewis Hamilton was asked if he expects the German to be back at some point.

“I mean, Hulkenberg coming back,” Lewis said.

“There is this whole build up but he’ll be back in one way, shape or form.”

Lewis then praised Seb’s off-track work and expressed how much he appreciates his friendship.

“I’m really grateful and really honoured actually to have the relationship that I do with him.

“A man that really generally stands by his word, full of integrity, generally just very, very kind and humble, and full of humility.

“But also compassion, he’s one of the only drivers that stands for something. I mean, what other driver has really truly stood for something other than themselves?

“That’s something to be really admired in human beings. We’re gonna miss him,” Hamilton concluded.
