It is being reported that Lewis Hamilton and George Russell are both present at the Jerez Circuit in Spain, where Mercedes is performing tyre testing for Pirelli, alongside Fernando Alonso and Aston Martin.

Lewis Hamilton and George Russell are both said to be present and ready to get behind the wheel.
This is the first time Lewis will drive a Mercedes since the big announcement that he will be leaving the team at the end of 2024, to go to Ferrari.

Fernando Alonso, one of the drivers being discussed as a possible replacement for Hamilton, is also present to test with Aston Martin.
Since this test is being done for Pirelli’s benefit, teams performing the testing will not get access to the data being gathered.
Pirelli began the testing programme for their 2025 tyres last month with Ferrari.
