Formula1.com had another voting exercise, this time asking drivers to vote for who they think was the best of them in 2019.
Lewis Hamilton has already been picked as the best driver of 2019 by Formula 1 team principals, and now his peers agree.
All Formula 1 drivers, except Lewis Hamilton, Valtteri Bottas, Sebastian Vettel, Charles Leclerc and Kimi Raikkonen, participated in the poll. The votes were submitted anonymously and drivers were allowed to vote for themselves if they wanted to. However it turned out not to be the case, as Lewis Hamilton got P1 once again.
Scores were based on the Formula 1 points system with the number one pick getting 25 points and so on.
Hamilton was followed by Max Verstappen, while Valtteri Bottas got fifth place. Congratulations again to the champ from SilverArrows.Net!
