Lewis Hamilton provides an update on his condition, after Toto Wolff said the Briton could miss the Canadian Grand Prix due to relentless bouncing he experienced in Azerbaijan.

During the Azerbaijan Grand Prix, Lewis Hamilton complained about the pain he felt due to the relentless bouncing of his car.

After the race he had trouble getting out of the car, and could be seen nursing his back while walking around parc fermé.

Afterwards, Mercedes team boss Toto Wolff even said that Lewis could miss the next race in Canada. Later Lewis took to social media to give an update on his condition.

“Seeing online that a lot of people are concerned about me with how awful it looked out there today,” Hamilton wrote.

“It means so much that so many of you are sending love. I’ll be honest, it’s looks terrible and feels 100 times worse.

“Definitely some recovering and hard work with the team to do before Montreal to overcome this hurdle. Feeling better already, though, and motivated to keep pushing.

“See you next week,” the Briton concluded.

It’s nice to hear Lewis is feeling optimistic about the next race, and hopefully he will be able to take care of any problems he might be feeling by then.
