Ahead of the Dutch Grand Prix, Lewis Hamilton praised Red Bull and said “they are a great team and they’ve done an amazing job”.
Red Bull has been very dominant in the 2022 season, and Max Verstappen is already on the verge of becoming the world champion.
After the Austrian team’s dominant performance in at the Belgian Grand Prix, Lewis Hamilton gave his thoughts on what Mercedes needs to do to try and close the gap.
“There are bits to our car that are good and there is performance in there,” the Briton told Sky Sports.

“It’s just whether or not we can utilise it. You want a car that works on every single track you go to. The Red Bull works at the majority of places and it’s understanding why.
“Red Bull have got the aero balance and good ride quality, no problems with bumps. They are a great team and they’ve done an amazing job.
“Red Bull had a great car last year as well,” Hamilton concluded.
