After Bubba Wallace returned from his one race suspension, Lewis Hamilton was asked if he has any advice for the NASCAR driver on how to move forward.

NASCAR driver Bubba Wallace was handed a one race suspension for getting into an altercation with Kyle Larson, after Larson bumped into Wallace’s car at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

Although these kinds of altercations are usually somewhat celebrated by fans of the sport, in Wallace’s case there were numerous calls for a lifetime ban.

On the day when Bubba’s suspension was lifted, Lewis Hamilton was asked by journalists if he has any advice on how to move forward from this.

“Well, Bubba, I think, probably doesn’t need any advice,” Lewis said.

“I think what he’s done and what he stands for is amazing. And he’s been so brave and been outspoken.

“I saw his documentary. I’m just generally really proud of him. I think the best thing you can do is not let anything pull you down.

“Just keep on pushing, keep your head up, do not give up, do not listen to the things that have been said, do not read what’s on social media. And just keep believing.

“I think if you let those things get to you, it can hold you back. And so I just ask him to head high and don’t give up.

“I think he’s going to do amazing when he comes back,” Hamilton concluded.
