Lewis Hamilton and George Russell are featured in Mercedes’ new video in which they wish Chinese Formula 1 fans a Happy New Year!
Lewis Hamilton has not been making any media appearances since the controversial ending of the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.
However, today he returned to the media spotlight while commenting on Sky’s donation to his Mission 44 charitable foundation, and now he is also featured in Mercedes’ new video, along with team-mate George Russell.
In the video the two drivers wish Chinese Formula 1 fans a Happy New Year.
“Hi everyone, I wish you a Happy Chinese New Year,” Lewis said.
“May the New Year bring you good luck and everything you wish for.”

Russell then added:
“Hi guys. I’d like to wish you a Happy Chinese New Year. I’m excited to join the AMG family and become part of the world’s fastest family.
“See you soon and stay safe,” George concluded.
2022 is the Year of the Water Tiger according to the Chinese zodiac. It starts from February 1st 2022 and ends on January 21st 2023.
A Water Tiger year occurs every 60 years, but Years of the Tiger include 2010, 1998, 1986, 1974, 1962, 1950, 1938. The zodiac sign Tiger is a symbol of strength, exorcising evils, and braveness.
