Lewis Hamilton concedes that Red Bull was better at the United States Grand Prix, and thanks his team for “great pit stops, great hard work throughout the weekend”.

At the United States Grand Prix Lewis Hamilton got narrowly defeated by Max Verstappen, who managed to hold the Briton off for the last few laps of the race.

After the race, Lewis conceded Red Bull was just better today.

“Firstly, congratulations to Max, he did a great job today,” Hamilton said.

“It was such a tough race. We got a good start and gave it absolutely everything but at the end of the day, they just had the upper hand and we couldn’t have really asked for more.
