Max Verstappen has given his first thoughts on the upcoming Formula 1 movie which is being produced by Lewis Hamilton and features Brad Pitt in a starring role.
Earlier this year it was announced that Lewis Hamilton and Brad Pitt are involved in the production of a new Formula 1 movie.
Lewis, who is acting as one of the producers, has recently revealed that the movie is expected to premiere some time in 2025.
Several scenes for the movie have been filmed during 2023 race weekends, however it has been reported that most of that footage has been scrapped and will have to be shot again.
Since F1’s most recent three-time world champion Max Verstappen had yet to give his comments on the movie, Dutch Formule1.nl website asked him about it, and if he was a fan of Brad Pitt’s movies in general.
“Yes, so many,” the Dutch driver said.

“Ocean’s Eleven, Ocean’s Twelve and so on, those roles stick with me. I like films anyway and Brad Pitt is of course a super actor.
“Before the US Grand Prix in Austin, I saw a few clips from the new film. They were shown during the drivers’ meeting with an explanation of how they had filmed it all.
“Nice to see, but it doesn’t really interest me that much. I don’t need to see a film of my own sport.
“This film is of course a made-up story and everything is always over-dramatised, you have to love that.
“I personally don’t have that much with that,” Verstappen concluded.
