RaceFans reports that Mercedes, Red Bull, McLaren and Williams offered their help in the global coronavirus pandemic fight.
The teams are said to have answered the call from governments who asked technology and engineering companies to help with their expertise and resources. The report says the teams have already started to research ways in which they can help develop and produce various medical equipment.
According to the report the topic was discussed in a conference call between F1’s marketing representatives and the teams. Other teams also offered to assist where they can.
UPDATE: Ferrari also offered its expertise and facilities to help fight the coronavirus pandemic.
