Mercedes released a teaser on their social media channels impying that Lewis Hamilton‘s contract signing announcement is imminent.
Along with the message saying “Announce… ?✍️”, Mercedes posted an image of Lewis Hamilton with his recent statement concerning his will to continue with the team beyond 2020.
“I plan to be here next year,” the inscription reads.
“I want to be here next year. I think we as a team have more to do together and more to achieve, both in the sport but even more outside it.”
Mercedes team boss Toto Wolff also said he believes Hamilton wants to stay with the team in his recent Mercedes video.
