After Lewis Hamilton‘s masterful drive at the Mexican Grand Prix, where he “finessed” his tyres, Mercedes decided to have a little fun on social media.
At the Mexican Grand Prix, after the red flag went up on lap 32 of 71, Mercedes decided to put Lewis Hamilton on a risky strategy which required him to make Medium tyres last for half of race distance, while everybody around him was on Hards.
Not only did Lewis manage to do this and finish in P2, he also posted the fastest lap on the final lap of the race.
Since there was a lot of talk in the race on when Lewis’ tyres will drop off, Mercedes decided to have a little fun on Monday, so they posted a post on social media saying: “Still waiting for Lewis’ Mediums to drop off.”
Well, the way Lewis ‘finesses’ his tyres, they might still be good to go! Below you can take a look at Mercedes’ post.
