Mercedes’ Trackside Engineering Director Andrew Shovlin says what the team is “working for at the moment is a bigger update to the car at the Austin race”.
In the final few races before the Formula 1 summer break, Mercedes managed to get into the fight with the top teams.
Unfortunately, now the team is once again struggling with their car, which is causing quite a headache for their drivers.
Well, Mercedes’ Trackside Engineering Director Andrew Shovlin says the team is currently working on another big upgrade package, which can hopefully help them move forward once again.

“Well as you know the spec of the car is always evolving,” the Briton said.
“We’re always trying to bring performance every race. But, at the moment our main focus is on bringing a bigger package to Austin.
“Then we get into the final six races of the year and there will be smaller things beyond that, but that’s certainly what we’re working for at the moment is a bigger update to the car at the Austin race,” Shovlin concluded.
