Amid the controversy surrounding the Drivers’ Championship, Mercedes took home Constructos’ gold and another all-time record.

With its eighth consecutive Constructors’ Championship win Mercedes has broken the record for most consecutive titles in the history of Formula 1.

By starting from P2 Lewis Hamilton took the team’s 250th front-row start, a nice milestone. Adding to that, Valtteri Bottas‘ last race for Mercedes was also his and Lewis’ 100th start as team-mates.
