After reports came out that Michael Masi is set for a new motorsport role, he says it’s “only rumours”, and adds he has numerous job offers, but is in no rush to commit to anything.

It has recently been reported by numerous sources that former F1 race director Michael Masi is set to become the new Chairman of the Supercars Commission in Australia.

Considering how he was removed from the position of F1 race director after not following the regulations in the final race of the 2021 season, which allowed Max Verstappen to become the world champion, the news was not well received by many Lewis Hamilton and Mercedes fans.

Speedcafe.com has asked the Australian to give his comments on these reports.

“Really?” he asked, and added “they’re only rumours”.
