If the Monaco Grand Prix FP1 is anything to go by, porpoising seems to be back for Mercedes, and Lewis Hamilton is “f***ing losing” his mind.

Although at the Spanish Grand Prix it seemed that Mercedes has found a way to deal with porposing, during the Monaco Grand Prix Free Practice 1 both Lewis Hamilton and George Russell have complained to the team that the car is bouncing incessantly.

Russell said the sensation was “awful”, while Hamilton told his race engineer Peter Bonnington that “the bouncing’s crazy, mate”.

Bono suggested that Hamilton come into the pits to make an adjustment to the rear wing, but it did not help.

“It’s so bouncy out here, I’m f***ing losing my mind,” Lewis said when he came out again.
