Red Bull team boss Christian Horner says Mercedes will be “back at some point for sure”, and then Toto Wolff “will have plenty to say”.
Back in 2021, while Mercedes and Red Bull were battling on the track, their respective team bosses were also engaged in a fierce war or words off it.
During his appearance of ESPN’s Unlapped podcast, Red Bull team boss Christian Horner was asked about the current status of his relationship with Mercedes team boss Toto Wolff.
“I haven’t seen much of him, recently,” Horner said.

“So, of course, there’s competition and needle. But there’s also a respect, and that’s important.”
As for Mercedes’ current situation, Horner said Red Bull is sure the German team will be back in the title fight sooner or later.
“They’re a great team. They’re a big team, they’ve achieved record-breaking [form] in so many areas. We don’t underestimate them, they’ll be back at some point for sure.
“I’m sure then Toto will have plenty to say,” the Briton concluded.
