After Lewis Hamilton took pole in Hungary, Nico Rosberg says he “witnessed these special moments” from Lewis in the past, and “today was one of those”.
After a year and a half of struggles, Lewis Hamilton took a brilliant pole at Hungarian Grand Prix Qualifying.
After the session, 2016 F1 champion Nico Rosberg was commenting on what everybody just witnessed, with IndyCar and NASCAR star Danica Patrick.
“He gave it everything he had,” Rosberg said of Hamilton’s pole lap.
“I witnessed these special moments and these days he used to have. Today was one of those.

“That lap there is like perfection. It’s art, only Lewis Hamilton can do that on such days. No one could have even gone a hundredth quicker.
“How awesome, super,” the German concluded.
To this Danica added:
“What’s really special is to execute at such a high level so consistently and still be able to squeak a little more out of it.”
