British drivers George Russell and Lando Norris have expressed their support for their countryman Lewis Hamilton in the 2021 title fight.
Lewis Hamilton is currently on the back foot in the 2021 Formula 1 championship, as he sits 32 points behind Max Verstappen in the standings.
However, fellow Briton Lando Norris recently revealed he is rooting for his countryman.
“I mean I’m hoping it’s coming home of course,” Norris told Sky Sports F1.
“But it looks a tough game, tough battle, and Max is looking very strong, so a high chance and probability it’s going to go Dutch.
“But I’m supporting Lewis, I’m supporting my fellow countryman. I wish him all the best, and both of them all the best, in the fight for the championship.”

Mercedes junior driver George Russell, another Briton, also backed Lewis to take the title in the end.
“There’s a long way to go,” Russell said.
“You can never discount Mercedes and Lewis. They’re an exceptional team.
“Max and Red Bull seem to be on it at the moment and everything’s just going their way, but in sport, in Formula 1, things can change in a heartbeat.
“I don’t know, I’m really torn. I hope it goes towards Lewis and Mercedes, but Max is doing an exceptional job.
“He deserves his opportunity that he’s got at the moment,” concluded the young Briton.
