George Russell says he and Lewis Hamilton “have so much respect for one another”, and they will speak about their Qatar Grand Prix crash and “go past this”.

After Lewis Hamilton and George Russell’s unfortunate Qatar Grand Prix crash, some are suggesting that the relationship between the two drivers has been damaged.

However, everything that can be heard from the Mercedes camp suggests otherwise. Not only did Lewis say the crash was “100%” his fault, and then apologized, but George said every incident “involves two people”, basically absolving his team-mate of some of the blame.

After the race, George also emphasized that their relationship is not in jeopardy.
