Formula 1 announced that the 2021 season will start a week later in Bahrain on March 28, with the Australian Grand Prix moved to later in the year.

The change has been made due to the developing COVID-19 situation. Because of travel restrictions the Chinese Grand Prix will also be rescheduled, while Imola will return in its place on April 18.
