Toto Wolff says Lewis Hamilton “is a pro”, and continues to try “to keep his morale up and the morale of the team even if the results don’t come”, despite his Mercedes exit.
Lewis Hamilton will leave Mercedes at the end of 2024, to join Ferrari in 2025. However, team boss Toto Wolff says this does not affect his attitude within the team.
What’s more, Toto says Lewis is the one motivating the team in this difficult period, and he believes the Briton will continue to do so until the end of the season.
“I think that Lewis is a pro,” the Austrian said.

“And [he] has behaved in that way until now, trying to keep his morale up and the morale of the team even if the results don’t come. I have no doubt that this is going to last.”
Wolff added Lewis also extends his support to his team-mate George Russell.
“He has also been supportive with George,” he concluded.
