Lewis Hamilton and George Russell missed the post-Sigapore Grand Prix media sessions due to medical reasons. Toto Wolff provides an update on their condition.
Lewis Hamilton and George Russell did not appear for media duties following the Singapore Grand Prix, and Mercedes has confirmed they will not be doing so due to medical reasons.
“Unfortunately neither George or Lewis will be attending the media pen this evening as they recover from the exertions of this evening’s race,” the team confirmed.
Both drivers, however, provided quotes in Mercedes’ race recap that is being sent out to the media after every race.

Later, while talking to the media, Mercedes team boss Toto Wolff provided an update on Lewis and George’s condition.
“They’re both suffering from the overheating, but they’re fine now,” Wolff said.
“They put themselves in an ice bath, and I think that helped a bit,” he concluded.
