Toto Wolff says Lewis Hamilton and George Russell has suffered a “borderline heatstroke or something like that” at the Singapore Grand Prix, and Mercedes “had the doctors with them”.
After the Singapore Grand Prix, Lewis Hamilton and George Russell have been pulled from their post-race media sessions due to medical reasons.
Mercedes team boss Toto Wolff now reveals it was a “borderline heatstroke or something like that”, caused by the harsh Singapore climate.
“They did not feel well,” the Austrian said.

“[They suffered a] borderline heatstroke or something like that, but they have had water.
“They would not have been able to go to the [media] pen. There were no bad feelings or any annoyance, it is just that we had the doctors with them.
“But they are all good,” Wolff concluded.
