Toto Wolff says he is ‘living rent-free’ in Christian Horner’s head

Mercedes team boss Toto Wolff says “every second that I spend on talking about Horner is a waste of time in my life”.

The rivalry between Mercedes team boss Toto Wolff and Red Bull team boss Christian Horner is well known, and it was never more evident than during the hard-fought 2021 season.

And the bad feelings obviously still linger, as earlier this year in a talk with Sky Sports, Horner took another jab at his rival.

“It’s very easy to pull [Toto’s] chain,” Horner said at the time.

“And you can see it, sometimes it affects him

“So of course when you’re competing, and last year was so intense and of course it was the first time he’d ever been in that situation, it’s always interesting to see how people react.

“And when they’re smashing headphones and so on, you can see that you got to them,” the Briton decided.

When Wolff was asked about Horner in a recent interview with The Times, he was very blunt.

“I am living in his head rent-free, the guy is obsessed,” the Austrian said.

“Every second that I spend on talking about Horner is a waste of time in my life,” Wolff concluded.
