In 2022 Valtteri Bottas moved from Mercedes to the Ferrari powered Alfa Romeo. In a recent interview he compared the two power units.

Valtteri Bottas has driven Mercedes powered cars for most of his career. After a year at Williams with a Renault engine in 2013, he has driven Mercedes powered Williams cars from 2014 until 2016, before he moved to Mercedes’ works team.

After five years with Mercedes, Valtteri switched to a Ferrari powered Alfa Romeo in 2022. The Finn recently compared the two power units.

“If I would compare the power to last year’s engine, it feels very similar in terms of the level of power,” Bottas said, quoted by RaceFans.net.
