Valtteri Bottas has been summoned before the stewards for allegedly driving too slowly through Turns 9 and 10, near the end of Q2.
If the Finn is found guilty he could be handed another grid penalty. Last week at the Stryrian Grand Prix the Finn received a three-place grid penalty beacuse of his spin in the pitlane.
That’s just on top of an already difficult qualifying session in which Bottas finished in P5. Not only is he behind both Red Bulls and his team-mate Lewis Hamilton, but he also qualified behind McLaten’s Lando Norris, who took a surprising second place.

After the session the Finn admitted he expected Mercedes to be closer to Red Bull than they were last week.
“Yes – in fact, we went a little bit backwards from last weekend or others [gained] more than us,” the Finn said.
“I would say maybe a tenth or two we’re missing where we should have been. So I don’t know if it’s because of the C5 compound, or clearly McLaren has found something.
“That’s where the pace of the car was today.”
