After having his best race this season at Monza, Valtteri Bottas says he is “looking forward” to another good performance at the Russian Grand Prix.
Valtteri Bottas has always performed well at the Sochi Autodrom. In fact, he has won there on two occasions, in 2017 and in 2020.
During his appearance on the F1 Nation podcast, Bottas said he is “looking forward” to this weekend’s race.
“I always go to Sochi full of confidence,” said the Finn.

“It has normally been a good circuit for me in terms of results. I’ve won there a few times and I’ve always been good there.
“As a team, we have always been strong there, but this year is different. It is not guaranteed that we will take the lead. There will definitely be competition from Red Bull at least, and even McLaren, and Ferrari are pretty close.
“So it won’t be an easy weekend, but of course, I’m looking forward to it,” concluded Bottas.
