Valtteri Bottas talks about the experiences he has had since COVID-19 prevention measures were eased and fans were allowed to attend certain races.
In an interview with Japanese Auto Sport Web Valtteri Bottas was asked about the most enjoyable experiences with fans at the races, since the COVID-19 prevention measures have been eased.
“There are many things, but I’ve been asked several times to sign on bare skin directly,” the Finn laughed.
“I was a little confused when I was told, ‘I won’t take a shower for two weeks so that it doesn’t disappear’.”
Bottas went on to talks about the difficulties of racing during the COVID-19 pandemic.

“First of all, I would like to thank myself and my family for not being infected in this situation.
“It can be said that it is a miracle that the Grands Prix were held in this way and that we were able to participate in the races. Thanks to the tremendous efforts of FIA, FOM and circuit officials in each country.
“Traveling across countries is many times more nerve-wracking than ever, and you have to undergo that unpleasant PCR test frequently.
“But compared to not being able to race, that inconvenience is nothing,” concluded the Finn.
