Ahead of the Azerbaijan Grand Prix Valtteri Bottas gave an update on his contract status with Mercedes. His current contract expires at the end of the year.
Valtteri Bottas’ position with Mercedes beyond 2021 is anything but certain, with George Russell thought to be one of the main candidates for his spot.
However, according to the Finn, his contract situation is not yet a priority, but it soon will be.
“We haven’t yet talked about anything, because this is being a pretty demanding championship,” Bottas said.

“It will come soon, but not yet,” concluded the Finn.
