Max Verstappen says Mercedes is “a very different environment” from Red Bull, but “if a team really wants me”, they will allow him to “adjust certain things”.
In an interview with Dutch publication De Telegraaf, Max Verstappen was asked if he could drive for Mercedes, a team that is perceived to have a more ‘strict’ and ‘corporate’ environment than Red Bull.
Verstappen said he would probably be allowed to “adjust certain things”.
“It is indeed a very different environment,” the Dutch driver said.
“It’s always important to be yourself and keep telling it like it is. Then it doesn’t matter to me where that is.

“If a team really wants me in such a situation, they will also go for you and I think you can also slightly adjust certain things.
“Then you come together, so to speak,” Verstappen concluded.
He did not, however, specify what he would “adjust”.
