The three-day 2023 Formula 1 pre-season testing starts tomorrow in Bahrain, and it will be broadcast live! Here’s where and when you can watch it!
When is testing on?
Unlike 2022, when pre-season testing included two three-day tests in Barcelona and Bahrain respectively, in 2023 teams will only test for three days in total in Bahrain. Testing will start on Thursday February 23 and end on Saturday February 25.
The test will comprise of the morning and afternoon sessions:
- The morning session will start every day at 10am local time (7am GMT) and finish at 2:15pm local time (11:15am GMT)
- The afternoon session will start at 3:15pm local time (12:15pm GMT) and finish at 7:30pm local time (4:30pm GMT).
Where to watch?
The viewers in the UK and Ireland can watch testing live on Sky Sports F1 every day, with the broadcast beginning 10 minutes before each session.
The viewers in other parts of the world will be able to watch all sessions live on F1TV, where available.

After each day of testing, the Sky F1 broadcasts will include a “Testing Wrap” roundup show at 8pm GMT, and “Ted’s Testing Notebook” featuring reporter Ted Kravitz at 8:30pm GMT, while F1TV will have a “Testing Review Show” after the final session on Saturday.
