After equalling the all-time record for most Formula 1 grand prix wins, Lewis Hamilton was asked which of his 91 victories is his favourite.
Not surprisingly Lewis picked his first grand prix win at the 2007 Canadian Grand Prix. It was a culmination of all the effort he put into honing his craft and all the sacrifices his father and family made to help him get to that point.
“I think my first will always be a stand-out moment for me,” said the Briton.
“Because really just… again, I always try to relate it to everyone because I think we can all understand what it’s like when you’re a kid dreaming to be there.
“My Dad sacrificed so much to… and my Mum and my step-Mum… sacrificed so much to get me to Formula 1 so to be on top of the podium.
