Mercedes team boss Toto Wolff says Lewis Hamilton “will end his career with us because I can’t see him in another team”, and adds “he can become a Team Principal or CEO”.

After a lot of speculation, Lewis Hamilton has finally signed a new contract with Mercedes, and will remain with the team at least until the end of 2025.

Team boss Toto Wolff says he is certain Lewis will remain even beyond that.

“We spoke about our sponsorships and how he will still be involved in the future,” the Austrian told Sky Sports F1.

“This is why it took a long time to sign the contract. He will end his career with us because I can’t see him in another team.

“I think he can become a Team Principal or CEO; he has the right skills and personality.

“Lewis shaped this sport, and he will remain in Formula 1,” Wolff concluded.
