Mick Schumacher has been announced as Mercedes’ reserve driver for 2023, and he was immediately welcomed to the team by Lewis Hamilton and George Russell.
A Schumacher has returned to Mercedes for the first time since 2012, when seven-time champion Michael Schumacher retired from Formula 1.
Now, his son Mick will be wearing Mercedes’ colours in 2023, when he will serve as the team’s reserve driver.
