Mercedes team boss Toto Wolff says the team is excited “to have all of you cheering for us as we race for our next podium, win or championship”.
After two difficult races, and then a return to form at the Australian Grand Prix, Toto Wolff decided to send out a message to fans of Mercedes.
While Formula 1 is in a middle of a prolonged April break, Wolff says the team is working hard to return to the top.
“I just wanted to tell you that we are really grateful for how you have supported us this season so far,” the Austrian said.
“It’s not been easy, but if it was, it wouldn’t be as exciting, and it wouldn’t be Formula 1 – the pinnacle of motor racing.
“Everyone here at the factories has been super busy and flat out over the last few weeks preparing to return to the track.
“We’re excited for that and to have all of you cheering for us as we race for our next podium, win or championship.”
