Even before the volatile 2021 title fight between Mercedes and Red Bull, the two teams were exchanging jabs. One such jab involved the destruction of Red Bull cans!
Back in 2015, Red Bull was looking to make the switch from their Renault power units to the powerful Mercedes engines.
However, Mercedes ultimately decided against supplying their rivals. This promted Red Bull to poke fun at team boss Toto Wolff with a cartoon of their drivers at the time, Daniel Ricciardo and Daniil Kvyat, running over Wolff in a Flintstones car.

Well, it didn’t take long for Mercedes to fire a shot back with a video invoving Wolff and the team’s Engineering Director at the time, Aldo Costa, in a race that ends with them both crashing into cans of Red Bull.

“School’s out! And seeing as the F1 paddock is in the festive spirit – particularly our friends in Milton Keynes – Headmaster Wolff and Engineering Master Costa have signed off in fitting fashion… at full opposite lock,” wrote the team jokingly.
