Brad Pitt’s Formula 1 movie has received a title and it is called simply – ‘F1’. This left some fans underwhelmed, and now Lewis Hamilton gives his thoughts.

The new Formula 1 movie starring Brad Pitt has received its first teaser trailer, and the film’s title has also been revealed – it is called ‘F1’.

Ahead of the trailer release, Lewis Hamilton, one of the producers and a consultant on the project, was asked if he can reveal anything extra about the film.

“There’s not really anything else I can add that I haven’t already said,” the Briton said.

“I think Joe [Kosinski, director] and Jerry [Bruckheimer, producer] and the whole crew are so grateful to be here and have been incredibly respectful of this space and have been very, very thoughtful.

“Some people just go out and go about it their own way, but they’ve been really wanting to make sure that the heritage is very much in this movie.

“And so I think people… You know, the trailer is coming out soon. So I’m looking forward to people seeing that.”

While some fans have found the simplicity of the film’s title a bit underwhelming, Lewis says he likes it.

“The title. I mean, it’s probably… Well, what else are you going to call it? You know, I think it would distract from what the series is.

“So, I like it,” Hamilton concluded.

The film will be released internationally on June 25th, 2025, and in North America on June 27th, 2025.
