Mercedes team boss Toto Wolff says “there is a reason why Lewis has broken all records and won seven world titles: because his level is higher than others”.
In a talk with La Gazzetta dello Sport, Mercedes team boss Toto Wolff was asked if he thinks Lewis Hamilton can win more world titles.
The Austrian had no doubts about it.
“Absolutely yes, and I want to emphasise this very much,” Toto said.
“There is a reason why Lewis has broken all records and won seven world titles; because his level is higher than others.

“If we give him a good car, one he trusts, then he can get back to the front. There is no doubt about that.”
In a recent interview, Lewis admitted that at certain points during Mercedes’ last two difficult seasons, he even doubted himself, and Toto says this is completely normal among high achievers.
“All the extraordinary people I met in my life have that,” the Austrian concluded.
